It has been a sensational summer and this year, we have benefited from a fabulous growing season for the British flower farmers and have loved all they they have offered to us. at the moment the zinnias and dahlias are very special and giving us a bright palette to work with and some stunning varieties in shades of rusts, browns and beiges - sounds odd perhaps but they compliment so many of the paler blooms popular for weddings over the summer and offer an elegant alternative for a quirkier look to dinners. There are two lisianthus,, Black Pearl and Brown which also fall into this category.
I have just added below some of my favourite images from a wedding this summer at Badminton where the church is stunning. The very chic pictures are by A Boy Called Ben(boycalledben.co.uk) and the terrible one is from my phone but I just loved the vicar staggering off with the large stone urn arrangement.
There are many fresh pictures on their way, I think that the styling of many parties and weddings has been a little more wild and whimsical than last year, so do revisit the website to keep upto date and be in touch to plan, plan ahead. We are happy to travel for consultations for clients with tricky schedules, the idea really is to offer you a bespoke service and make your floral adventure as fun and stress free as possible
We love to bring the outside in so as sumer fades do think on to plan bulbs for the winter or big bowls of elegant orchids tweaked with some interesting twigs - we are very happy to plant up your containers for you.
