Well so much for grey January and February for us it has been a whirl of reviewing work from the last few years, regrouping with contacts old and new and meeting with clients to plan projects for 2017 and 2018. We have showcased our work, trained to upskill and plan to ensure that this year the quality of the designs we create exceed expectations.
We have become increasingly mindful of seasonality which inspires our work influenced by what we see in nature at any given time. So much has been planted ( some by us but mainly by the fabulous British growers ) so whilst we are greedy for the scented spring flowers of the moment, the mosses and lichens, offcuts from prunings we can’t help but hanker for the tulips, the sweet peas and peonies and the garden roses to come.
Whilst filing some of the lovely letters and emails we receive from clients – and I am always so touched that they take the time to write to us – I found this really cheering note: “ Chrissie I think you’re v talented you could make a pile of nettles look fab “
I think that the styling of many parties and weddings has been a little more wild and whimsical than last year, though each one is so very different and we are mindful to visualise and produce the flowers which each bride would like and not what is ‘on trend’.
We are happy to travel for consultations for clients with tricky schedules, the idea really is to offer you a bespoke service and make your floral adventure as fun and stress free as possible Do please call if you would like to discuss designs and dates for any celebrations, weddings, parties, dinners or funerals 07770875353 or email with the form on the contact page. Don’t worry if you think that you are planning ahead, a save the date is a very good plan with a florist as the diary fills up.
